Organising Your Wedding? Help Is At Hand!

Tips From An Expert Who Has Organised More Than 1,600 Weddings Over The Last 22 Years spoke to Robert Jack who has helped organise over 1,600 weddings at Settlers Country Manor - his beautiful country garden wedding venue at Waimauku, just north of Auckland.

Robert says that there are four major things that couples will want to get right:

1.       The weather – you can’t control the weather so you must have a Plan B for rain or wind

2.       Wedding Budget – how to avoid nasty surprises

3.       Stress – on your wedding day you want this to be a stress free day so that your lasting memories are wonderful ones

4.       Wedding Photos – how many times have you been a guest at a wedding and been left waiting for too long while the bridal party disappear to their perfect photo location?

Robert and his team are dedicated to taking the stress out of your special day by making sure that the weather, the cost, photo requirements and your stress levels are all under control. How do they do this?

Underpinning  everything the Settlers team do, their first aim is to make you feel at ease and to help you create the day that you want. On this the most special of days, it’s all about you!

Settlers offer you a choice of 3 weddings sites in the gardens, 1 on a covered veranda and 2 inside, so you are covered no matter what the weather does.

All inclusive pricing means no nasty surprises and no escalating costs. The venue is beautifully  decorated and pricing includes candles, sashes and chair covers - pretty much everything except personal decorations you might want and flowers. You have a range of ceremony/service options and  beverage plans.

Settlers Country Manor abounds with photo opportunities and locations so time spent on formal photos is minimised and your guests are comfortable and entertained during the photo shoot.

Robert says about the wedding party: “The most important thing for us is to make them feel at ease. We do the worrying so that it’s their special day. I make sure that each couple can choose what suits them for their special day – we want to create the day they’ve dreamed of. We are dedicated to looking after them on the day; we greet them on arrival, and then stay in the background, making sure everything runs to plan.”

Settlers have hosted weddings for many diverse ethnic and cultural groups, as you might expect for a wedding venue in a city as diverse as Auckland. Robert reckons that they have hosted weddings for people from pretty much every part of the world.

With Robert’s experience of over 2 decades and more than 1,600 weddings at his Auckland wedding venue, couples find that he has a wealth of information and is full of great ideas for their wedding.

Talk to the team at Settlers Country Manor and find out how they can make your perfect day even more perfect!
